Star Wars Factfiles

In 2002 De Agostini started publishing a weekly Star Wars fact file. When it finished in 2005 there had been 140 issues - that's a lot of facts! Each issue cost £1.99 and if you subscribed you got the folders sent to you.

The Fact files were a must for all serious Star Wars fans, and do look mighty smart sitting on the shelf (albeit a bit heavy!).

Individual issues can be bought from time to time on eBay for around £4.00,  but a full a set in mint (not separated) condition will set you back several hundred pounds.

Of course, if I asked my kids if they wanted a Star Wars fact file they would think they were getting LEGO® Star Wars Character Encyclopedia or LEGO® Star Wars The Visual Dictionary (Dk) because Lego seems synonymous with Star Wars nowadays.
